Ireland
These are pictures taken on my Canon AE-1 while in Ireland for my brothers wedding in 2019.
Spending time arriving in Dublin, Then in Kilkenny for My brother's Marriage. Including seeing Kilkenny Castle, The view from the bathtub in our hotel room in the countryside, and the laughter of an Irish wedding.
After the wedding, Molly and I got to join my father's 7 siblings and their partners on a bus tour. The first stop was Cavan, where we saw my family's homestead that housed my ancestors since before 1900. The property was recently sold and I got to see the homestead of those who immigrated to America with all of my father's family... on the day it was being remodeled. We arrived and there was a back door. By the time we left... there was not.
Our historian ancestor brought us to many of the parishes in the County... scattered with Galligan's. But the last three pictures are of the last graveyard where lies:
The First recorded Galligan. Whose grave is so worn, we don't know their name.
